The Rubber Match

In a surprise move, 2005 team captains John Hart and Keith Cottom have decided to go New School/Old School one more time. Being the two most recent MVP's and the two most dominating linemen in TB history, Hart and Cottom were named captains and given the right to draft this year's teams; however, the two rivals thought it would be fitting to match these teams up one more time.

With the all time series knotted up 1-1 it seems a logical solution to hold a rubber match in 2005. With New School knotching a 10-9 win in 2003(Turkey Bowl 4) and Old School claiming an 8-3 victory in 2004(Turkey Bowl 5) a rematch in 2005 would put one team ahead in the all time standings.

The game, as always, is scheduled for 10:30 AM at Pritchard Field on November 24th. Looking at this year's rosters (New School | Old School) this one looks like a great match up, with series bragging rights on the line.
