Since 2004 the TFL (Thanksgiving Football League) has managed to give back to the community by running a charitable event to go along with the game each year. For the past 22 years a toy drive has benefitted local families and schools. Due to it's success the toy drive has become an annual occurrence.

In 2007 the TFL took on a new charitable task. To go along with the Annual Toy Drive the Ridley Turkey Bowl held a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds benefitted the HEADstrong Foundation in memory of Nick Colleluori. The raffle was a huge success, with over $1800 being donated.

In 2008 the TFL provided kegs at all Turkey Bowl IX events, asking only that people donated each time they purchased a cup. This simple fund raising effort was able to raise over $400, further adding to the success of TFL charities; and bringing the total monetary amount raised to close to $2300 (not including the countless number of toys).
