It seems like only yesterday we were sitting in Hart's back yard, marveling at how stupid Tim could be for not drafting a sufficient amount of linemen. But I digress, this is not a trash talking post. This is a post to remind everyone that last year, when moving from a score based game to a time based game kickoff was moved up 15 minutes to 9:45 9:45 9:45 9:45 9:45 9:45 9:45!! Why am I posting this now you ask? With two weeks still left til the game? Because this is only the first of many times. I will probably post it at least two more times before Thanksgiving. Also, last year we might have been a little bit ambitious with our game time (remember it was our first time doing it that way). For some reason we thought 2 hour halves would be doable. They weren't. At the request of many people half lengths have been reduced to an hour and a half. So the new schedule (available at all times in the Rules section) looks like so: *9:45 kickoff *1 hr 30 min half, ending at 11:15 *15 min half time *11:30 second half kickoff *1:00 end of regulation *OT if necessary As evidenced by the decision made last year the game time can be shortened even more if the game turns into a blow out (strong possibility of that happening this year). |
