I just wanted to post my complete jubilation over Obama's victory last night. I have been supporting Obama's campaign ever since he announced his intention to run. I think that he is going to do wonders for this country and, as a military man, I am proud to serve such a valiant American such as him. I know that Obama was a much better choice than McCain, and, as I stood in the voting booth, pressed the Democrat button and voted for all of my favorite liberals. Thank God we live in a country where an African-American, Muslin named man, can be President.

PS - As a sign of respect to President Elect Obama I am giving up all my guns and going AWOL from my military services.

This will be my last post on the board. For the first time in my life, I am ashamed to be an American. I still cannot believe that the people of this country have chosen a person like Barack Obama as my commander and chief. I do not mean this in a racial way, but by his character as a person and his experience in our government. It seems that most of his votes came from none working individuals and young college students that do not know their ass from a hole in the ground. That is what digusts me the most. I tend to feel I am a good judgement of character because of the people I surround myself with. The person that the citizens of this country elected to be president have not really scene what he is like without cameras around. I am scared that this country has dark times ahead of it. Regardless of what happens, I will continue to stand up and fight because it looks like I will be busy in the future. I just pray to God that no one I know is affected by the things that may come. As for the person who poses as me, please tell me what AWOL and UA stand for and the difference between them. Thank you. I'm out.

AWOL stands for Absent Without Leave and UA stands for Unauthorized Absence. The Navy & Marines use the term AWOL and Army & Air Force use UA... any real serviceman knows that. By the way my real number is 1536, stop pretending to me. You're making me seem like a real bitch by saying that I'm not gonna talk shit... although that does make sense since I am a bitch.

What unit am I with now: Number and company? What unit was I with in the Marine Corps? What base was I at for my enlistment? How many flight hours did I have? What medals do I rate? How long did it take me to pick up sergeant? Try to look those up.

Hey Detweiler DJ, for someone who said "This will be my last post on the board." just a few posts earlier you sure post a lot.

And to answer your questions that you are asking me about myself (WTF is up with that?):
I am in the 31st Corps of the National Guard, Bravo Company
I was in the Air 533 Unit in the Marines
I was enlisted at Fort Bragg
I notched over 500 hours in the air
I rate a silver star medal at this point
I picked up sergeant in 2006
My blood type is B positive

And I've got a few questions for you, if that's not the only difference between AWOL and UA what else is there? And who uses them in what way smart guy?

-PFC Derek Detweiler 1536 (Not 1537 like the impostor keeps posting)
