| WTF happened to the site? | |
| Posted By: Commisioner Marce 11/6/07 at 11:00 AM | I've heard this question countless times over the past few days; and to be honest I have no answer for it. Whenever I tried to load the site I was getting an error message in Russian. My numerous emails to the Commie hosting company went unanswered. Then one day, out of nowhere, she was back. So what have we learned from all of this? First off, this is why you always go for an American company. Not saying that their servers would have worked any better but at least I would have been able to read their error message. Two, I'm gonna make more of an effort to back the site up more often so that if this happens again I can have a back up online in no time. And C) from now on you should always visit the site through the www.ridleyturkeybowl.com URL instead of turkeybowl.siteburg.com; this way if the site does go down i can just repoint the URL to the back up site and it will be like nothing changed. In conclusion, lets hope that was a one time thing because I've had so much trash to talk and no where to put it. My head is so cluttered up with curse words and empty threats that I'm having trouble thinking straight. I'll be back later with a more meaningful post... oh yeah, Hart built kick ass goal posts on Sunday; I will be dunking over them several times after my numerous scores on Thanksgiving |
